Selecting your Ramp

The following overview will answer basic questions regarding our Ramp category

» Threshold Ramps

A simple solution designed for smooth uneven doorways, sliding glass doors, and raised landings. Threshold ramps feature high traction surface. Made out of aluminum or rubber, they fit 1 to 6 inches threshold height. Threshold ramps offer Up to 600 lbs. weight capacity.

» Solid Ramps

These ramps are a one-piece design that means no assembly or movable parts. Just position the wheelchair ramp and it's ready to use. They feature a seamless rigid design for a safe and solid feel. Solid Ramps are designed to create a pathway over smaller elevation changes, and they hold up to 700 lbs.

» Single Fold Ramps

Also known as suitcase ramps, they offer a portable solution for smaller elevation changes. Single fold ramps are length-wise folding for easy transportation. Simply unfold the hinged ramp in half to be carried like a suitcase. Some models can be separated, making it even easier to use, carry, and store by simply removing two hinge pins. For indoor and outdoor use, they are available from 2 to 6 foot lengths. Single fold ramps are used mainly to load power chairs and scooters into vans and small trucks.

» Multi Fold Ramps

They are unique 3-fold design that offers the length required for wheelchairs and scooters to easily access steps, vehicles, and raised landings. Tri-Fold ramps feature a Hinge design that allows for a two-piece portability. Available from 6 to 10 foot lengths with built in handles. They feature up to 800 lbs. weight capacity. Multi Fold Ramps are designed for indoor and outdoor use.

» Van & Hitch Mount Ramps

Van Ramps are designed for quick and convenient access to the minivan side door. The solid full-width design accommodates scooters and wheelchairs. The Van Mount ramp easily installs to the van floor using the specially designed mounting plate.
Hitch Mount ramps easily attaches to vehicles equipped with a rear hatch or side-hinged doors and outfitted with a class 1, 2 or class 3 receiver. The spring-assisted design allows the ramp to unfold using minimal lifting strength and easily refolds into a compact unit for easy transport.

» Specialty Ramps

The Roll Up ramp offers a full-width driving surface that is lightweight and durable. Designed for maximum portability, the patented hinge design makes it convenient to store, travel with and set-up. Available in3 Foot and 5 Foot Lengths.

Telescoping Platform makes mini and full-size vans accessible, while also acting as a semi-permanent ramp. This ramp extends from 4 1/2- to 8-feet in length.

Track Ramps are designed for manual or power wheelchairs. Two telescopic channel ramps each extend to be used on steps, vans, or curbs. For storage, simply pick up each rail and depress the guide buttons to collapse.Available in 7 & 10ft. lengths.

Determining the Ramp You Need

When choosing a ramp, there are different factors to consider:

  • Rise: Measure the vertical height that you are climbing with the ramp from the ground to the desired platform.

  • Length: Dictated by the rise, make sure that is ample clearance for barrier free access.

  • Weight: Add the total weight of the power chair/scooter to the user weight, and make sure that number is under the ramp weight capacity. Our ramps can accommodate up to 800 lbs of total weight.
  • Width: The width of your power chair/scooter should be smaller than the ramp total width for to clear on either side.
